Anna's Book

With Anna’s Book, you read your first real book in a foreign language.

You choose the language you are learning and start reading in short, simple sentences. Over several volumes, the language grows with your knowledge, and Anna’s Book accompanies you until you can read ordinary literature for native speakers.

When you understand one page, you understand the next one too, and if you ever get stuck, the English translation is available under each paragraph.

Mi estas Anna. Mi havas dek jarojn. Mi loĝas kun mia familio en domo. La domo havas ĝardenon. En la ĝardeno estas granda arbo. Mi ŝatas la arbon.
I'm Anna. I'm ten years old. I live with my family in a house. The house has a garden. In the garden there is a big tree. I like the tree.
Ni havas ankaŭ malgrandan hundon. La hundo nomiĝas Ozzy. Mi tre ŝatas Ozzy. Li estas tre rapida. Mi ofte ludas kun la hundo. Mi ĵetas pilkon, kaj Ozzy kuras rapide post ĝi.
We also have a small dog. The dog's name is Ozzy. I like Ozzy very much. He is very fast. I often play with the dog. I throw a ball, and Ozzy runs after it quickly.
Li ofte alportas la pilkon reen al mi. Foje li ne alportas ĝin reen. Tiam mi kuras tra la ĝardeno kaj serĉas la pilkon. Ozzy ankaŭ serĉas la pilkon. Ni trovas ĝin, kaj Ozzy bojas.
He often brings the ball back to me. Sometimes he doesn't bring it back. Then I run through the garden and look for the ball. Ozzy looks for the ball too. We find it, and Ozzy barks.
