With Anna’s Book, you read your first real book in a foreign language.

You choose the language you are learning and start reading in short, simple sentences. Over several volumes, the language grows with your knowledge, and Anna’s Book accompanies you until you can read ordinary literature for native speakers.

When you understand one page, you understand the next one too, and if you ever get stuck, the English translation is available under each paragraph.

Jag heter Anna. Jag är tio år gammal. Jag bor med min familj i ett hus. Huset har en trädgård. I trädgården står ett stort träd. Jag tycker om trädet.

I'm Anna. I'm ten years old. I live with my family in a house. The house has a garden. In the garden there is a big tree. I like the tree.

Vi har också en liten hund. Hunden heter Ozzy. Jag tycker mycket om Ozzy. Han är mycket snabb. Jag leker ofta med hunden. Jag kastar en boll, och Ozzy springer snabbt efter den.

We also have a small dog. The dog's name is Ozzy. I like Ozzy very much. He is very fast. I often play with the dog. I throw a ball, and Ozzy runs after it quickly.

Han kommer ofta tillbaka till mig med bollen. Ibland kommer han inte tillbaka med den. Då springer jag genom trädgården och letar efter bollen. Ozzy letar också efter bollen. Vi hittar den, och Ozzy skäller.

He often brings the ball back to me. Sometimes he doesn't bring it back. Then I run through the garden and look for the ball. Ozzy looks for the ball too. We find it, and Ozzy barks.

Han är en klok hund. Ibland hittar Ozzy bollen snabbare än jag. Då skäller han. Då vet jag: Bollen är där. Jag springer till Ozzy och ser bollen. Så leker vi ofta tillsammans.

He is a clever dog. Sometimes Ozzy finds the ball faster than I do. Then he barks. Then I know: the ball is there. I run to Ozzy and see the ball. That is how we often play together.

Jag har också en bror. Han heter Mats. Min bror är fjorton år gammal. Han är fyra år äldre än jag. Han är min storebror. Mats leker också ibland med Ozzy.

I also have a brother. His name is Mats. My brother is fourteen years old. He is four years older than I am. He is my big brother. Mats sometimes plays with Ozzy too.
